Probably the most comprehensive European motorhome travel blog ever!
September 19, 2018
Our Kiwi clients Ruth and Alan Gow have been touring Europe since June 2017 in “Besty the Blucamp Sky 25” and have just shared their travel blog with us. Not only is this an excellent travel blog, it is actually the best “How To” guide to enjoying a trouble-free, extended, European tour in a motorhome we have seen yet.
The Bourtzi is a small fortress built by the Ottomans at the end of the Methoni Castle. This view is through one of the castle windows.
Ruth and Alan’s blog “Travel-Cook-Eat” takes you from planning your trip through to buying the right campervan with real world experiences from their last year. They talk about every imaginable aspect of their trip from overcoming Shengen Visa challenges to daily, weekly and monthly living costs. They are keen cooks too and have added many recipes suitable for campervan kitchens.
This photo was taken just past the Montenegro border crossing into Albania. Unfortunately, we didn’t have the opportunity to spend time in this country but we do hope to return.
Follow Ruth and Alan’s trip so far from Scandanavia to Greece and see where they get to over the next year of their (provisionally) two year tour.
There were so many amazingly jaw droppingly good ceiling paintings in the Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel that it is hard to identify our favourite photo. This was just one photo of one small part.
If you like the look of “Betsy the Blucamp Sky 25” you can see the 2019 price for a new model here.
